6th Annual “HOLY SMOKE” Christian grilling competition
Despite the rain it wasn't a BUST!!

Thanks to all of the grilling teams and churches that helped; and to everyone that attended and made this event another great success!!!

The Macedonia Baptist Church Brotherhood, with the help of the entire church family hosted the sixth annual “Holy Smoke Christian Grilling Competition” on Saturday March 28, 2009.

Although rain and storms prevailed throughout the day "Holy Smoke" withstood it all. Our benchmark of twenty registered teams was reached this year, but the weather as it was carved the number of participating teams down once again to seventeen which included a team from Marshall Co. Alabama and a team from Griffin Georgia.

Thanks to a collective effort of all these teams, those that came out to eat with us, and other generous supporters we were able to raise $3076, which included an individual donation of $1000.00, to be divided equally between the two children's homes.
