 We took the plunge this week and made
a splash with Jesus! What a week of fun, crafts, singing, good food, and
most of all learning about Jesus - God's Son. Our Biblical theme was
John 4:14 "Whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst.
Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water
welling up to eternal life."The week started great and ended even better. There was an average attendance of over 100 with a huge crowd on Thursday night of around 150 including visitors & family. Thursday night Bro. Warren Allford from Americus, a member of the "Strength Team" wrapped up our VBS with a great program displaying many feats of strength which included bending steel bars, ripping a 3" thick phone book in half, and straightening a #5 horseshoe; all with his bear hands. He concluded his program with a challenge to everyone to reach out to the greatest strength of all, Jesus Christ, and accept the gift of salvation that God offers through Him who died for our sins. Thanks to "Hoss Cat" and everyone that had a part in VBS 2007 at Macedonia. By the way, our offering for the week went with "Hoss Cat" (Bro. Warren) to Honduras to aid in a mission trip.
